Rev. Josh Milliron, Senior Pastor joshmilliron@gmail.com
As a boy I grew up in the home of a United Methodist pastor, and was the oldest of 4 kids. It was during these years that I was baptized and found faith in Jesus Christ. As a teenager I was a basketball player, operated a yard business, worked as a custodian at our church and on a hay farm, and had dreams of becoming a medical doctor. While in college, I heard a call to preach the Word and do the work of an evangelist (2 Timothy 4:1-5). Since that time 22 years ago, I have been serving in churches and in missions around the world preparing others to follow Jesus Christ using my gifts of preaching, teaching, and leadership. In addition to love for the Lord, for my family, and for the church, I love sports and movies. My last name is pronounced “Mill - iron”. A milliron is the central shaft of a mill wheel. My family of four lives in West Monroe. My wife, Allison, and I have been married for 16 years. Together we have two children, a daughter who is in ninth grade and a son who is in seventh grade. I completed my education at Centenary College and Asbury Theological Seminary, and I am currently a part of the Advancing Pastoral Leadership continuing education program in Texas.
