Membership in United Methodist Women is open to all interested women. Church membership is not essential to participate. There are no membership dues, but women are encouraged to make a finacial pledge each year to support the local and worldwide mission of the UMW. Members are also encouraged to make a pledge of time and service.
The General Meeting of the McGuire United Methodist Women is held the second Tuesday of each month. There will be reminders posted in the newsletter and in the bulletins for the time, place, and program topic.

The UMW hold two major fundrasiers each year. For 2009, the silent auction and spring luncheon will be on May 2nd. The proceeds from this event are used to buy school supplies and toiletries for migrant children. The UMW Bake Sale will be on November 21st. Proceeds from this event are used to buy clothing and Christmas presents for children in Child Protective Serivce.
