Pine Cove Camp (Tyler, Texas)
2nd-5th Grades
The Pine Cove Towers is designed specially for children Grades 2nd-5th. Children will have the best weekend of their lives. With new and freshly renovated cabins that are in the design of castles, the children will rest comfortably at night in preparation for a weekend packed full of running, jumping, zipping, trapezing, blobbing and eating in the brand new dining hall. Children will also have opportunities to ride horses, watch hilarious skits, dance to fun songs, hear powerful teaching of God’s word, and spend time with some of the most Christ-Centered, kid-loving college students this country has to offer. The Towers will be tons of fun and incredibly energizing for each child’s walk with Christ.
Camp Caney (Minden, La.)
Camp Caney is a great place for praising God this summer through activities, songs, and worship. Caney is a 36 acre facility in the National Forest. They have activities such as basketball, volleyball, swimming, ropes course, climbing wall, and much more.
Caney camp focuses around providing campers with a in-depth look at God’s word in an atmosphere that is free of the normal distractions found in everyday life. It’s also a great way to meet other kids and make new friends from this area.
Vacation Bible School
June 21-25 2010 9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m.
Our Vacation Bible School is filled with incredible Bible-learning that kids see, hear, touch and even taste! Bible Crafts, team-building games, cool Bible songs, and tasty treats are just a few of the activites that help faith flow into real life. (Since everything is hands-on, kids might get a little messy. Be sure to send them in play clothes and safe shoes.) Plus, we’ll help kids discover how to see God in everyday life---something we call God Sightings.

Every Tuesday starting June 29, our children will enjoy a movie and snack at Tinsel Town. Afterwards they will travel to Kiroli Park for a picnic lunch and fun wacky games. It’s a great time of fun and fellowship so come join us each Tuesday morning this summer!

Our Sweetheart Banquet is scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 21, 2010. This has been a huge success the last three years and this year will be no exception. Tickets are $10.00 and included your meal and the best entertainment you’ll find for miles around. Love will fill the air as we drift thru the ages with entertainers such as in the past: Elton John, Donnie and Marie Osborne, Tony Orlando and Dawn, The Supremes, Michael Jackson, Dolly Pardon, Barbara Steisand, Olvia Newton John, John Travolta, and The Bee Gee’s just to name a few. And yes, Elvis did make an appearance. It’s a night of fun and laughter in God’s House.
Children’s Palm Sunday

This is a great to celebrate “Easter”. We start out the day with the procession of our children lining the pews with their palm branches as Jesus arrives during our 10:30 a.m. service. After our morning service, everyone is invited to bring a picnic lunch and sit underneath our beautiful church yard trees with family and friends. At 1:30 p.m. our activities begin with the drawing of the Boy and Girl Easter Baskets, The Jelly Bean Count, Spoon Egg Race, Egg Roll Contest, The BIG Easter Egg Hunt, The Live Easter Bunny Drawing, Baby Chicks and Ducklings and our featured event…….The Parent’s Easter Egg Hunt and Egg Toss. Bring your family, friends, picnic baskets, blanket or lawn chairs and join us on Palm Sunday!
FALL
Bible Bowl
Ages K-5th grades
The children meet on Sunday afternoon in the Fall season for a six week exciting, fast paced, high volume learning program about God’s Word. By searching for God through His Word the children will be encouraged to walk closely with Him in their daily lives. Each week the children memorize scriptures at home, invite friends, sing songs, and play high energy Bible games for points. You will be amazed at the large volume of Bible knowledge your children will learn in such a short time. It is our hope that this program will be the beginning of a lifelong walk with their Savior and friend.
Backyard Social

5:00-7:00 p.m.
Our annual “Backyard Social” is a great time to enjoy the great outdoors with family and friends. The dust is brushed off everyone’s ice cream freezers for the big “Home-made Ice Cream Contest.” The children as well as adults enjoy loads of games: horse shoe, washer toss, sack race, water slide, and tug of war. We have gospel singing and the “Father and Son” Kickball Tournament. It’s a great day at God’s House.
Third Grader’s Sunday

Sunday Morning Worship 10:30 a.m.
Each year our third graders are honored during the morning 10:30 service. Each child will be given a New Adventures NIV Bible. After the service all children, parents, grandparents are invite to help honor our third graders with a delicious meal.
Fall Festival

You know “Fall” is in the air when we get ready for our “Fall Festival”. It’s time to get our those Pumpkin and Chili recipes for our annual “Pumpkin” and “Chili” Cook-offs. Dress the children in their costumes and join in the fun as they enjoy our games: Plinko, Bean Bag Toss, Ladderball, Spider Toss, Dinosaur Toss, Face Painting, Washer Toss, Go Fishing, Pick Up Ducks, Pumpkin Toss, Miniature Golf ,Tennis Toss, Obstacle Course and the Costume Contest. Bowls of chili with all the fixin’ will be sold, so come join us in this “Season of Blessings” with family and friends.
